EMEA Technical Sourcer, University

The Sourcer will strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns; 
 Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques 
 Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of various roles and how they fit into the organization; 
 Team with Coordinators and Recruiters to manage an efficient model of 
operation; 
 Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit ; 
 Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders; 
 Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas

 

As a sourcer you will develop, drive and execute on the staffing strategies for universities in a predefined region of the world. The position is based in our London, UK office. This role will support sourcing for Software Engineering and other Technical roles.

 

Skills

3+ years of sourcing or staffing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team, preferably across various roles & disciplines 
 Previous experience recruiting in the creative field a plus Passionate about Facebook product and able to speak to our technology/industry 
 Good eye for talent with ability to quickly screen resumes to identify fit 
 Excellent research/sourcing skills with ability to dive deep into searches for 
hard-to-fill reqs 
 Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive 
candidates 
 Sharp interview skills with ability to screen for both functional and cultural 
qualities 
 Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate well

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers and recruiters to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating a pipeline of top technical talent
  • Identify potential candidates through the use of Boolean searches, user groups, candidate referrals and networking
  • Engage, develop relationships with, and assist candidates through the recruitment process
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on sourcing campaigns, referral generation and events
  • Develop and lead projects and initiatives to increase candidate pipeline
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify skill sets for niche roles and develop candidate pipelines for target skill sets
  • Maintain data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis
  • Partner and collaborate with other sourcers to ensure that leads are shared with those who can best develop them
  • Map university engineering talent space through tactical research, networking, social media and the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share 

Requirements

  • Passionate about the Facebook product and able to speak to our technology/industry
  • Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates

  • Eye for talent, with the ability to quickly screen resumes to identify candidates
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process

  • Solid tech and industry knowledge with ability to understand relevant tech skills, target companies, engineering schools, conferences, open source communities
  • Strong consultative qualities and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the org as well as externally
