Engagement & Recruiting Lead – People with Disabilities

The People Compliance team partners directly with our Employee Resource Groups as well as Diversity, Recruitment, People Operations, and Human Resource Business Partner teams to ensure that each Facebooker is positioned to make a meaningful impact. 

As the Engagement & Recruiting Lead for People with Disabilities, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our related initiatives, help cultivate and implement our longer term roadmap and work closely with multiple cross-functional partners to find, grow and keep top diverse talent across the company.

  • Partner with Recruiting Leads, Managers, HR Business Partners and Diversity to develop and operationalize data driven, tailored strategies to find, grow and keep diverse talent globally

 

  • Research and analyze external talent sources, partner organizations, and events, focused on qualified candidates with disabilities, to create customized recruitment approach

 

  • Collaborate with Employee Resource Group leadership, HR Business Partners and Diversity to support strategies for retention, engagement and promotion of diverse talent globally

 

  • Use influence to drive engagement and accountability across partners

 

  • Provide relevant data, analysis and recommendations to guide global facilities design and support as well as system/tool accessibility

 

  • Ensure best practice implementation for compliance with Section 503 requirements in the U.S., including self-id process and reporting, as well as global hiring requirements related to People with Disabilities

Requirements:

  • 4+ years project management, or strategic operations experience

 

  • 2+ years HR Generalist or Recruiting experience; building strong relationships while working with all levels of the business

 

  • Experience successfully navigating the complexities related to recruiting people with disabilities, accessibility and/or Reasonable Accommodations

 

  • Detail-oriented and organized with a track record of taking the initiative to go the next step to create a better solution or product with limited guidance

 

  • Experience designing data-driven programs through demonstrated research and analytical skills

 

  • Effective consulting, communication and facilitation skills

 

  • Experience serving as a hub for information and strategy, influencing cross-functional teams, of internal and external partners, to drive initiatives

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred

 

  • Familiarity with external organizations and networks that support candidates with disabilities is strongly preferred

 

  • Current knowledge and experience with latest regulatory changes and reporting obligations related to affirmative action/Section 503 compliance (US), preferred
